Planning to visit Alaska during the summer?

It’s our busiest time of year, and reservation volume from June through August is high. To guarantee that a vehicle in your preferred class is ready for you, we strongly recommend booking in advance. A non-refundable $100 deposit is required to secure reservations for June through September rentals.

Please note that vehicles are reserved by category. If your chosen category is unavailable, we’ll provide a similar or larger vehicle at no extra cost.

This company could not come more highly recommended. Our car took us all around the Anchorage area during our 2 week trip. It was clean and well maintained. We even got a ride after dropping off the car to our breakfast spot in downtown when we told them we were ordering an Uber! Great rates and above and beyond service!

HIGHLY recommend!! Fabulous customer service from calling to ask questions (they answered the phone immediately!), to booking the reservation, to picking up/dropping off the car - I didn't have a bad experience in any area. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. It was a MUCH better experience than booking with the typical car rental places (Avis, Budget, etc) and alot less expensive. Something they did, which I've not seen before, was to video any dings on the vehicle before I drove off. They then emailed me the video. That way, I had proof of any minor damage already on the car before I returned it. I thought it was a great idea and something all car rental places should do. Don't let the fact that they are not located exactly at the airport keep you from booking. They're only about a mile away and will shuttle you back to the airport. I will definitely use Midnight Sun the next time I'm in Alaska - thanks for a great experience!!

Cannot recommend this company enough! We rented a car to be able to drive the McCarthy Road. The car was clean, reliable, and the rental process could not have been any easier. The team here provided exceptional customer service and truly went above and beyond for me during my stay in Alaska.
